A mesh network uses multiple wifi access points in different locations in your home or office to blanket your home with a wifi signal, eliminating wifi dead spots. Out of the box, these wifi access points communicate with each other using the wifi signal itself. Mesh wifi networks are great for larger homes, homes that are oddly shaped, or homes that contain a lot of metal that can interfere with wifi signals.
